Passion from the very beginning.

Our story starts with the idea of our namesake: In 1908, Melitta Bentz revolutionized coffee enjoyment with the paper coffee filter – and quickly let the whole world participate. In the tradition of her passion to constantly improve coffee enjoyment, numerous milestones follow. In 1958, a division for the professional sector was formed, today known worldwide as Melitta Professional.
