Energy concept of the future

 

By 2025, we will achieve climate neutrality for all emissions caused by the Melitta Group itself, e.g. through the burning of fossil fuels.

Electrical appliances of the future

 

By 2030, all electrical appliances sold by Melitta will be at the forefront of their respective markets from an environmental point of view in terms of energy consumption, durability, use of sustainable materials, and repair and service offerings.

Coffee of the future

 

Our goal is to offer only sustainable "coffee of the future" by 2030 at the latest. This means that the coffee comes from socially and ecologically responsible cultivation, is processed and transported in a climate-friendly way, is prepared in an energy-saving way and is offered in environmentally friendly packaging. In addition, the coffee grounds are used as sustainably as possible. In this way, we ensure sustainable coffee cultivation and sustainable enjoyment for our customers.

Plastics of the future

 

From 2030 onwards, we want to process and sell exclusively "plastics of the future". This consists of recycled or sustainable, renewable raw materials, is produced in a climate- and resource-friendly way and can be used several times. After use, it is either recycled or - if there are no disposal structures - biodegrades in nature without leaving any residue. By 2025, we will increase the proportion of high-quality recyclates and recyclable products, develop biodegradable plastics, expand our range of reusable packaging and actively promote a functioning circular economy for plastics.
