EU Organic Seal
The EU organic logo, featuring twelve white stars arranged in the shape of a leaf on a green background, has been mandatory for all packaged organic foods in the European Union since July 2012. This organic label identifies products that have been produced in accordance with the EC Organic Regulation and thus meet the EU-wide minimum standards for organic farming.
German Organic Seal
The organic seal stands for organic cultivation without chemical-synthetic pesticides or genetic engineering. It guarantees environmentally friendly agriculture, species-appropriate animal husbandry and strict controls along the entire production chain. Organic products protect nature and promote sustainable quality.
Fairtrade
The Fairtrade seal stands for fair trade and better working conditions. It guarantees that producers receive fair prices, social standards are observed and child labour is prohibited. Fairtrade promotes sustainable cultivation, strengthens the rights of workers and supports community projects on the ground.
Rainforest Alliance
The Rainforest Alliance seal identifies products that have been produced in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner. It stands for sustainable cultivation, the protection of forests and species diversity as well as fair working conditions and the support of producers.
