Melitta Professional goes ELPHI
We are a gastro partner of the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle
Coffee and cultural enjoyment go hand in hand here. Since the 2021/2022 concert season, we have been the exclusive coffee partner of the Elbphilharmonie and the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg. Both concert halls receive everything from us from a single source that is part of coffee success: coffee, coffee machines, technical customer service. Everything is perfectly matched to each other and to the needs of our partner. But see for yourself: We accompanied the arrival of our coffee machines with the camera.
High up
The Elbphilharmonie rises to 102 metres above street level. First of all, every professional coffee machine wants to be brought to its destination.
Walk
The last few meters are then "on foot". Arne Simon and Simon Küseler carry an XT6 to the counter in the "Helmut and Hannelore Greve Foyer".
Millimetre work
It depends on the millimetre. Only if the machines are optimally positioned is a smooth workflow guaranteed later in practical operation.
Installation
Once the exact position has been defined, the installation of the machines begins, including accessories such as milk refrigerators, cup warmers and coffee carriers. And that's not the end of the work of the Melitta Professional team, because...
Setting parameters

After the work is done, the machines are perfectly matched to the Espresso Bacio Nero, the Café Crème Monte d'Argento and the Filter Coffee Special Exclusive
Slim design
Refined aluminium housing, touch screen made of cut glass: With their slim design, the machines of the XT series fit perfectly into the stylish, minimalist ambience of the foyer. Everything is ready. Now the guests can come!

Everything from a single source
The foyer gastronomy and backstage area are equipped with a total of 33 professional fully automatic coffee machines and filter coffee machines from the XT series, including accessories such as milk refrigerators, cup warmers and coffee carriers. In the musicians' rooms, small fully automatic machines from the Caffeo series are used. We have also harmoniously coordinated the coffee and cocoa range for the two concert halls: From the extensive range of coffee for the catering industry, the Espresso Bacio Nero, the Café Crème Monte d'Argento and the Filter Coffee Special Exclusive were selected for the tasting. For the cocoa, the choice fell on the UTZ-certified Melitta® Cioccolata Style Milk Chocolate.
